🎤 Words of wisdom and advice from DOUBLE PLATINUM: Celebrating Drexel Alumnae Shaping the Music Industry (pt.1) Drexel alumnae are transforming the music and entertainment industries. A new elective, Women in the Music Industry (taught by MIP alum Monika Julien), explored the significance of representation in today’s music industry landscape through examining women’s experiences, challenges, and accomplishments. As a culminating project, the students in the class interviewed 12 Drexel University alumnae (from MIP and drexeleam) who are currently working in the music industry, and the interviews were compiled into a zine called DOUBLE PLATINUM.
