MY NEWEST OBSESSION! 📖 Join lillyslibrary and I as we dive into this brand new book, The Centre by Ayesha Manazir Siddiqi. It’s so good! Not much of a reader? Need some convincing? Here’s what I’ve learned:
1) Books make for some great conversations that are DIFFERENT. Because unlike a TV show, you’re making up the world, characters, etc., in your own mind. And your interpretation will be different from your friends.
2) Ever feel like South Asian representation is limited on screen? Same. I’ve found in books, representation is so much more nuanced and vast.
3) Whenever I feel like trash, basic af and discover I have 90 red flags, I remember that I’m still pretty cool…because I read. LMAO.
So what are you waiting for? Tag a friend below that you want to read this book with. Grab your copies and follow lillyslibrary as we post content catered to the story. Reading starts Monday, July 17th, so GET TO IT!
