Every surgical plan starts with understanding what is actually contributing to a patient’s concerns.
For this patient, her biggest concern was the heaviness around her mouth, especially noticeable when she smiled. Tight retaining ligaments created visible bands of skin in this area, which required a fully released deep plane face and neck lift to properly address.
She also felt that she looked tired, with hollowing through the midface and undereye area. Fat grafting was planned to restore volume where it had been lost.
Because the lateral brows sat quite low, a temporal brow lift was added to open the eye area while also allowing the facelift tissues to be repositioned appropriately.
Finally, we planned a deep plane lip lift to address elongation of the upper lip and loss of definition through the Cupid’s bow.
Different concerns, different anatomy, one surgical plan designed specifically for her.
