With the Shelter Health Outreach Program (SHOP), a team of uofpenn undergrads and physicians are partnering with community clinics and other organizations to offer medical care to vulnerable populations. “It’s been an amazing journey,” says Maaz Baqai, founder of community partner, the SHAMS Clinic. "I think the biggest area that I’ve seen in this relationship is the outreach these SHOP students are doing.
