In expanding the brand for tcnjlions we made many iterations that all seemed a little too far of a stretch from their current brand, but were vital steps to the final end design. This “turn” of their current mark came out really strong and making sure it blends seamlessly with their current set of marks. . Seen a lot in character design, we literally drew horizontal lines across their current mark and did our best to make a 1-to-1 connection into a new logo. From there we cleaned up the mark and pushed the design throught their core needs and wants of their brand expansion (boldness, crispness, scalable). .
