Wright State closes the regular season with a 4-2 win over Oakland at Alumni Field. The Raiders struck early and never let go: Cairo Duarte scored in the 1st minute, Tedrick Neptune made it 2-0 in the 17th, and Duarte added his second in the 27th (assisted by Rowen Arnold) for a 3-0 halftime lead. Arnold made it 4-0 in the 80th, before Oakland answered late — Zach Townsend in the 82nd and Cal Kurzawa from the penalty spot in the 85th. Wright State outshot Oakland 23-13, with 10 shots on goal. The loss ends Oakland’s season just outside the Horizon League postseason picture, in a match Oakland had to win to advance. @ncaasoccer @horizonleague @wsumenssoccer @oaklandmsoc @collegesoccernew #soccer #canon #swartsillustrated
