It's #SharkAwarenessDay 🦈 Check out this video oceanramsey recently shared saving tiger shark "Queen Nikki" who she's very familiar with. She came across Queen Nikki with a fishing hook and fishing line attached to her jaw during a routine dive. Ocean says that she is so grateful she was able to remove the fishing line with the metal clamp that was chafing the shark's gills. The hook will rust out, and thankfully whomever accidentally caught her, let her go quick enough that her jaw didn’t break. Thousands of sharks are threatened daily from bycatch and entanglement.
