As a current student-athlete that has had past injuries prevent me from playing. I understand the identity crisis athletes go through when it’s time to move to the next phase of life. Almost 1 out of every 2 student-athletes struggle with mental health issues due to the identity crisis they face at the end of their athletic careers.
