According to the @sleepfoundation, student-athletes should be getting 9-10 hours of sleep every night. 😴⁠ ⁠ Last week, we ran a poll in our newsletter asking our audience how much sleep YOU are getting. Only 18% of respondents are getting more than eight hours of sleep! And 21% of you were getting less than 6 hours. 😱⁠ ⁠ This week, we’re challenging you to increase that valuable recovery time. Stressors that we experience during the day can sometimes follow us to bed, making it hard for us to get the sleep we need.⁠ ⁠ Your challenge: Give yourself one 5 minute break after every hour of work that you do this week.
