New for the #CreateSpaceResidency this year are municipal partnerships to support the artists-in-residence in hosting their public art projects! We’re thrilled to connect the Town of Oakville (townofoakville) with local artist Ning Yang to realize their installation in the coming months. Ning Yang (she/her) is a designer and illustrator interested in visual identities, strategy and storytelling. Ning likes exploring the layered, collage-y creative process of mending illustrations with language and is interested in results that reflect as much of its emotional coming-of-age and creative processes as possible.
