Last, but certainly not least, for our senior “send-offs” is Emily “Em” Molins! Emily is from Wilmette, Illinois and pursued Dual Degrees in Economics and an individually designed major in Engineering. Emily has been recognized for her academic achievements as a Terman Scholar and member of Phi Beta Kappa & Tau Beta Phi. When Emily is not being an academic force, you can find her leading by example with a smile on her face! When asked to speak to her Stanford Lights experience, Em wrote beautifully, “My grandfather was a runner and a coach, and he had scribbled down in one of his journals the following quote: “Those who take from track have an obligation to give something back to it.” While I may have traded in my track shoes for an oar, I do often think about the incredible gift rowing has been in my life.
