Begin extracting one lesson from each week - whether it be from positive events or…not so positive events…pick a day to assess the previous 7 days.
I’m sure that you could identify more than one, but just try to focus on one PRIMARY lesson - the one that was the MOST impactful or influential. The most deep-seated; the one with the most potential to facilitate your growth and pull you forward.
Take an honest look - try not to get upset or frustrated with everything that’s happened; all of the mishaps and delays; all of the burdens and setbacks that resulted - just become a student of your own experiences.
And if you feel yourself heating up, tearing up, or recognize any other emotion rising in your body, practice emotional resilience.
