Last season, Norris had 17 goals and 18 assists for 35 points in 56 games. That was 0.3 goals per game and 0.6 points per game, which was impressive for a rookie. In only 32 games this season, Norris already has 18 goals and 8 assists, good for 26 points. That’s 0.56 goals per game and 0.8 points per game. That’s roughy a 45 goal pace if he does not miss a game for the rest of the season. That would be the first 30+ goal season since Milan Michalek scored 35 in 2011-12 and first 40+ goal season since Dany Heatley scored 41 and Daniel Alfredsson scored 40 in 2007-08.
