A major reason for the success of the Sens recently has been the success of their penalty kill. The only two short handed goals allowed were against Carolina and Colorado. Dylan Gambrell and Alex Formenton have scored Ottawa’s first two shorthanded goals of the season as well. The forwards on the PK, including Formenton, Gambrell, Austin Watson, Nick Paul, and Connor Brown, have all be excellent and their aggressive play style has worked well.
