Happy #InternationalWomensDay! These are just a few of the mostly forgotten women whose lives, actions and sacrifices helped shape today’s Bay Area. They are educators, organizers, fighters, adventurers, and so much more. Founded in 2018 by its author Rae Alexandra, this KQED Arts & Culture series titled, 'Rebel Girls From Bay Area History,' brings you the inspiring life stories of these brave women. Later this month, on March 23rd, join Rae Alexandra at KQED Headquarters to learn about these women over drinks, laughs and a competitive storytelling bingo game night! Head to the 🔗 in our bio for tickets and more. ✍️: @rae_alexandra3
