As a way to celebrate Black History Month, we are highlighting Black figures on our social media pages. Today’s Black figure is Jacqueline Logwood, a Fullerton resident. Last year, Logwood lead the effort to remove Louis E. Plummer’s name from Fullerton Union High School’s auditorium that was originally built in 1930. Historical records show that Plummer had close relations with the Ku Klux Klan, a group known to have engaged in acts of violence against minority populations. Join us as we celebrate Jacqueline Logwood and Black History Month. - 📸: Steven Logwood, Jr., Myron Caringal, Fullerton Observer and Tribe Tribune
