pshin8670’s story is one about bravery, belief and pure ambition. As a liver cancer survivor and liver transplant recipient, his life mantra is simple: keep going. No matter the circumstances or the distance. This summer, he aims to put that mantra into motion in a big way at the Leadville 100. Representing the chrisklugfoundation charity team to raise awareness for the need of registered organ donors, Phil aims to become the first liver transplant recipient to complete 100 miles. Through high altitude of over 10,000 feet, and over 18,000 feet of climbing, it’s a symbolic mountain to climb, but none as large as the life obstacles of those battling liver cancer and searching for organ donors every year.
