A lot of people ask what my work-out life has been like since volleyball ended. β€œHow often do you work out??” β€œAre you still motivated?” β€œDo you still lift weights??” . . Because I was required to work-out 6 days a week and had specific plans to follow, my form of exercise for the past 8 years was pretty much the same exact thing... over and over... again and again. While I stayed motivated by thinking about how it would help me perform, my pure excitement to actually do those workouts faded over time. . . Now that I have the freedom to choose how I move my body, I pick workouts that are FUN to me. I like taking dance classes even though I’m bad! I like running stairs by the beach and looking at the view from the top! I like jogging to my favorite songs then doing squats every time the beat drops! πŸ˜‚ so the freedom has been fun, and I stay moving because it feels good to sweat and get the heart rate up! πŸ’“ . .
