“Working for yourself just means you get to decide which 80 hours you want to work each week”. I’d say this quote is pretty accurate. When first starting you should expect to hustle. I made at least 2 posts a day for the first few years when trying to grow my account. Here’s 3 time management tips for anyone out there struggling to figure out their own time management: 1.) “Prioritize.” Who gets your time first? It might sound harsh, but it’s true, from me it goes: paying clients, prospective clients, family, friends, everyone else. In that order. If you’re paying for my time I put you at the top of the list. I want to keep your business. 2.) “Put out the fires first”. Whatever needs to be done today, do now. Whatever needs to be done this week, schedule. Then build your “down time” list. I never unintentionally have down time. There’s a list of projects, many of which may never get finished.
