Last week we got to do a fun project with the team at mlcconnect in Nashville making one of a kind helmets. We had been talking about it since last conference, but it came together quickly at the end as all events do. Hockey was “easy” wrapping a ccmgoalie mask, but it was fun showing off the possibilities of our work on a riddellsports football helmet and allstarsportinggoods catchers mask. . Being a sports design conference this made all the sense in the world. Not only were they branded with the event as if it were a team, but showed the Nashville skyline and a presenting sponsor by adobe . Used as “props” for the event itself and also for the designer headshots, they really came out great and we keep seeing a lot of our work pop up in our friends/colleges posts (i.e. pic 6 from portdesigncompany ) .
