Officials cordoned off a portion of the coast near Cannon Beach to allow a cougar perched on Haystack Rock a safe escape route on Sunday. On Monday morning, officials with Oregon State Police and the Department of Fish and Wildlife found what appeared to be cougar tracks leading away from the rock off the coast near Cannon Beach.
