📅Urban Campout 2023: Adventure Awaits returns on Friday, Sept. 22! Join us for an epic evening of adventure, outdoor thrills, camaraderie, and memorable experiences at our Balboa Park campus. 📣It is our pleasure to introduce the Urban Campout Co-Chairs: Janice Kurth and Maggie T. Watkins (pictured right). Here’s what these all-star volunteers had to say about why Girl Scouts is so impactful: “Life is full of adventure! Girl Scouts helps our girls experience some of that while developing the courage to face adventures with confidence.” – Janice Kurth “Girls Scouts represents all that is good in the world. It creates a wonderful and safe environment to learn values, leadership skills, life's lessons, and so much more. It really provides a platform to positively shape young women.” – Maggie T.
