NYCFC is excited to announce the addition of NYCFC II, the club's new team set to participate in MLS Next Pro in the 2022 season. Matt Pilkington has been named as Head Coach and Danny Cepero as Assistant Coach. In addition, Forward Jonathan ‘JJ’ Jimenez and Defenders Nicholas ‘Nico’ Benalcazar and Samuel ‘Kwaku’ Owusu have signed MLS Homegrown contracts as the first players with NYCFC II.
