the community of Mamoní Arriba in three words: joyful, generous, and strong. In one short week while building a basketball court with the locals, they opened up their hearts and their community to us, and they poured buckets (tanques, específicamente) of love into our hearts. Oftentimes as Americans, we think we have so much, but the people of Mamoní have shown -through word and action- that what is most important are the intangibles.
