Today is my last day at FIU Athletics. Over 5 years of core memories, character-building, and friendships have made this place a significant part of my life and my creative journey. From starting off as a volunteer, to going up the ladder as part time, then to vendor to full-time; I’ve been so appreciative of my experience here. I wouldn’t have made it without the trust of so many coaches and staff members who believed in me and my abilities. The final note at the end of the video reads “if you want to go fast; go alone. If you want to go far; go together.” I’m grateful for how far we’ve been able to go together with all the friends I’ve made along the way. You guys are the reason why FIU is a great place to work ™️ and I couldn’t be more excited for the future we’ve built. I’ve graduated from Employee to Fan, and now I get to sit back and enjoy the show from afar. It’s still #PawsUp for life, but it’s my time to move on.
