We are happy to announce that Lukas Heuberger has committed to the GMU Ice Hockey Team!! Lukas chose the GMU ice hockey team because he felt like it offered him “ the best combination of hockey and education and also because of the coaches there. When talking to Keith and Steven for the first time I already felt like they wanted me to be a part of their team and to me having a good connection to both coaches is really important, which is why I ended up choosing GMU.” When Lukas was asked why he loves hockey he responded with “I love hockey because it’s the fastest team sport in the world and because I grew up with it as my parents always took me to the home games here in Linz.” We also asked Lukas what he was most excited about for the next season! “I’m definitely most excited to just meet all the other guys on the team and compete in practice and win a lot of games together!” The GMU Ice Hockey team could not be more excited to welcome Lukas to the team!! gmu_ice_hockey_alum ...
