Sunset at Holy Cross 🌇 Here’s an interesting look at how different a shot can turn out based on the angles that you take them. All 3 of these shots have the same flight pattern and were taken at the same place but by playing with different distances/compositions, I was able to get 3 unique shots. This is something I try to do more often than not when shooting drone footage of an area. Once I know my subject, I try to get 2-3 very similar shot patterns but with slightly different compositions that way when I get back in front of my computer, I have multiple options to pick from to fit whatever edit style I’m going for. Nothing about this is particularly profound but something to think about for anyone new in the drone space looking to capture better footage.
