ARIDO Stands Against Human Trafficking! Join Us on July 30th! On this World Day Against Trafficking in Persons, ARIDO recognizes the urgency of addressing this global crisis. Human trafficking is a grave violation of human rights, affecting millions of individuals worldwide. It is an issue that knows no borders, transcending age, gender, and socioeconomic status. At ARIDO we know that human trafficking is a serious issue in Canada and Ontario. Throughout our 2018 project with BridgeNorth our eyes were opened at the way that women and girls are trafficked from around the country and brought into a system that erases their autonomy and dignity. During the 2018 ROI project, we were able to improve their office space to provide a secure space for the team at bridgenorthorg to deliver services to victims.
