I lost my first drone to the coastline of California pushing the limits! Navigating around and behind the rocks I felt confident that I had good signal and on one of the routes back towards me I noticed this gap from the other side that was too irresistible. I made it safely through once and thought I could make it again but nature had other plans. This is not the first time this drone has been through water and survived with conformal coating and FPV Worryfree added but had been many months since applied and they do wear out over time. This wave was just too much for it to handle. Years of FPV flying have seen many ups and downs, but each of my drones have always made their way back home - until this one.
