Happy #wlfeowednesday and #summerspotlight day! Today we are highlighting Charlotte Penberthy (AC ‘23)!!💎☀️ Charlotte has spent the last two months studying Arabic in Morocco through Project Go, an opportunity provided by ROTC. She lived in Meknes with a host family who taught her Moroccan recipes and Muslim traditions. On the weekends, she traveled to places like Rabat, Casablanca, and the Sahara Desert. Not only did she have the opportunity to learn a new language, but also a new culture! “I’m incredibly grateful to be in Morocco learning Arabic and the culture of the country! I barely knew a word of the language when I first arrived, but now I can hold a basic conversation and write in paragraphs. The intensive program is challenging but very rewarding, and I’ve been able to see more of the beauty of Morocco on the weekends!
