Today, we took some important time out to provide #CPR and #AED training to non-clinical associates and visit cardiac patients at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. We are #MedStarHealthProud to have been joined by MissAmericaDC Jude Mabone and BrentfordFC, which is visiting D.C. for the PremierLeague Summer Series. Both are inspired by their own powerful and tragic connections to #HeartAttacks and #CardiacArrest. In Washington, D.C., especially, gender and racial disparities can play a role in determining who receives life-saving CPR from a bystander and who does not. Stay tuned through the rest of the year as we continue to team up with Jude to address this issue and teach these life-saving skills throughout the District.
