Today, the City of Cleveland presented sketches of its North Coast Master Plan and asked for feedback of its latest proposal to overhaul Cleveland's lakefront.
Here's what you need to know about the project:
•The North Coast Master Plan envisions a land bridge called "The Arc" that would connect Downtown to a multi-use park space.
•Potential features of the multi-use venue include an amphitheater, themed porches, a wetland beach, kayak launches, retail and restaurant spaces, play areas, a fishing pier and more.
•Mayor Justin Bibb hopes the park can be an accessible "place of healing" after years of segregation and inaccessibility for certain communities.
•Rumor has it that conversations surrounding the renovation of Cleveland Browns Stadium have stalled and owners Jimmy and Dee Haslam are considering suburban options.
