One of the many roles I play is being a Mom of two amazing children. I had my youngest kid, Parker, when I had just started my own law firm. Parker sat in a bouncy chair for the first four months of his life while I worked. Although starting a law firm while navigating being a mom wasn’t easy, I was lucky enough to have the flexibility to find ways to balance my life and grow my career. This is not a luxury every parent has. Childcare is a critical component of helping working parents while preparing children to thrive in the classroom. We must fund Pre-K and full-time kindergarten programs to help Idaho families.
