recruitment diaries with Simone Erachshaw 💞✨ “I joined Delta Gamma in fall of 2022 during formal recruitment. I was a sophomore at the time. My freshman year was not what I wanted it to be. I didn’t know many people at Drexel, and I had no clue about activities happening on campus, and if I did, I didn’t know anyone to go with. I was mainly locked in my dorm room all day. I remember being so nervous, not knowing how the recruitment process worked. I was placed in my rho gamma group and I made friends instantly. It helped me so much through the process. One girl in my group joined Delta Gamma with me, and I walked into the unknown with my first forever friend. I didn’t know if I wanted to join a sorority, because I wasn’t sure if it was for me, but I took that chance. Now, I walk on campus and see so many people I know.
