The Space, a new 20,000-square-foot event venue on Brook Park Road, is nearly ready to host weddings, concerts, fights, professional wrestling tournaments and more later this year. Owners Tim Bishop and Mark Rasmussen, publisher of nocovercle or organizer of clemusicawards, hope that the venue can host 700-1,000 once inspections are complete. The partners have also joined laplazataqueria's Adrian Ortega in purchasing Honest Fighting Championship, an MMA company that has hosted events at jacobspavilion.
