Macro photography is something that I have always been very interested in. I think it's so cool that you're able to take a photo of something so tiny and make it larger than life. But I had never done macro photography outside of taking photos outdoors in the field until I decided to do this idea. Bringing macro photography in the studio was so much fun and challenging in its own way because I didn't want to just do the typical macro shot. I took tons of photos of individual flowers, spraying water on the flowers, and even blowing bubbles until I finally captured these two images. I think the lighting on these two pictures came out so gorgeous and really highlighted what I wanted to be seen. The rose with the bubbles was a little trickier to nail, but I loved how it turned out. I do believe I will be doing some more fun macro-studio shoots before too long!
