The tax-free holiday is here, and shoppers can find relief from inflation and steep clothing prices. On Aug. 4 to Aug. 5, you can expect to shop till you drop without paying state and local sales tax on clothing. The annual holiday begins 12:01 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 4 and ends at 11:59 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5. The weekend-long event comes just in time for back-to-school shopping, although the exemption only applies to certain clothing and footwear priced at less than $100. Iowa sales tax ranges from 6% to 7% depending on location. Tap the link in our bio for more on this story. #Iowa #salestax #backtoschool #backtoschoolshopping
