Create rather than consume. A little precursor, I don’t claim to be an expert by any means, I’m just speaking from my personal experience. Often we scroll through social media seeing what others create or do, looking on with with a bit of jealousy, wishing we could do or create those things. Instead of being jealous, be motivated. If you see something that you want or something you want to be able to do, get up and learn how to do it. The skills that I’ve developed didn’t happen the first time I picked up a camera. It took years of bad pictures, looking up questions on YouTube, and practicing to do what I do today. The less I consumed others work, and started focusing on my own work, creativity improved, and I started having fun. Learning isn’t easy, but it’s rewarding.
