The World Naked Bike Ride is set to return to Portland this Saturday, Aug. 12, once again drawing throngs of nude cyclists to the city streets.
Perhaps Portland’s best-known and most divisive event, the naked bike ride is officially a protest for cyclist safety, against oil dependency and in support of body positivity. It’s known for its carnival-like atmosphere and the traffic jams it inevitably causes as it makes its way through town.
