Nathaniel Ritchie and Parker Corey retired the name Injury Reserve, a name they first used as part of a trio with their late bandmate Steppa J. Groggs, who passed away in 2020. Ritchie and Corey put out the last Injury Reserve work (a video for their song “Bye Storm”) alongside “Double Trio,” their first music as By Storm — and the duo spoke to ddavidrenshaw about writing the song under their new moniker.
