Empowering the community through science 🧪👩‍🔬 🔬 Undergraduate Summer Research Institute student Amber Rose ‘24 spent the last six weeks developing hands-on laboratory experiments to inspire the next generation of chemistry enthusiasts. SAU chemistry students, faculty and local science teachers gathered in Lewis Hall for a demonstration of Rose’s experiments involving geological materials. Soon, these engaging experiments will be distributed to local high schools and used in the classrooms of @stambrosealumni. USRI student researchers spend weeks of intense work on a variety of topics under the mentorship of College of Arts and Sciences faculty.
