You've been wanting some Auburn Basketball uniform news. We have it! Last night, we had the honor of being invited to join thejungleauburnpodcast with special guest DerRick Turner, graphic designer at Under Armour who tackles a lot of uniform design. DerRick gave us some details about the new Men's and Women's Basketball uniforms that will be worn this season. The concepts below are by no means the final product, but our interpretation of what may be worn. The Men's program will debut three new uniforms: white, navy, and orange. The white and navy colorways will be based on the uniforms worn between 1979-80 and 1982-83. Charles Barkley wore this design during his freshman year on the Plains. The orange uniforms will also be a Barkley-era look, based on the 1983-84 to 1988-89. Both uniform designs will feature the existing wordmark, logo, and font branding along with utilizing the traditional Northwestern stripes as opposed to the original striping patterns.
