Let's chat about alt text. Alt text describes your photos for people with visual impairments. It is text in the metadata (the data hidden behind the scenes of a photo) that will describe the contents of an image for people using assistive reading technology. And it's so easy to forget about. Don't. More and more, companies are seeing just how important it is to make their business practices as inclusive as possible. Often, making something inclusive doesn't mean going far out of your way. With a quick edit (I'm talking a 1-minute detour here), you can ensure that people with visual impairments get just as much out of the content you work so hard on. Otherwise, you're leaving your followers in the dark. That's not smart OR nice. So if you haven't been doing this all along, don't worry - adding this data isn't difficult.
