It might sound basic, but understanding the motivation can make it easier to plan your next move, says Lindsay Scott, our career columnist. From there, think about which of your skills and experiences are transferable—and then highlight them so companies see how you’d fit into a project team.
Granted, it might be difficult to find a job on the open market where recruiters are looking for specific experience in project management.
