“We are one boat, one paddle.”   Since 2008 The Baltimore Dragon Boat Club has been paddling through the Inner Harbor one stroke at a time 🐉   It all started when 3 paddlers, competing in the Catholic Chariest bi-annual race, decided that they wanted to expand the dragon boat community. BDBC has since grown to over 100 full-time members!   Coaches Ousa and Beatriz, who came out with us on Saturday, have fallen in love with the sport and agree it’s more like a family than a club.   “It’s addictive, I don’t know when you start racing and there’s this energy. The team becomes like family, and we work very, very close together,” Beatriz said.    The club is open to new members, and no experience is necessary to join (must be at least 10 years old).
