Comment with 🩶 if you journal! Journaling is an act of self-care for me. As soon as I pick up my lined notebook and begin scratching words on the surface, my mood softly shifts. I travel inward as the words pour out. Occasionally I will doodle or draw instead of writing actual words, but regardless of what ends up on the page, my personal energy is a little different - softer - or ‘more open’ may be a better descriptive. Personal development takes time. It also involves a number of small adjustments and developing a routine. Journaling is the watering can for these seeds of change. When I don’t have something specific come to mind to write about, I will outline my objectives, or my recent developments, and any setbacks. Documenting the journey gives me perspective that helps me move forward. If you’re not already keeping a journal, consider it!
