The annual event began on a Friday afternoon last month and kicks off with video keynotes and advice from leaders in the game development industry. It’s an opportunity to make a game, experiment, and learn, meet new game creators in your area, and have fun! . This was MICA's 7th year serving as a host site in Baltimore City and was attended by a mix of regional game developers, students, and hobbyists joining in for 48 hours of game making under this year's theme, of "roots". .
