His process-oriented work deconstructs and reconstructs natural elements, generating motifs that reference the artist’s Cuban roots, and connects natural forms with an architectural process. Raymond is represented by Pentimenti Gallery in Philadelphia. He was asked to be part of the collaboration with the museum and Mural Arts Philadelphia, along with four other local artists, to create a mural inspired by “Matisse in the 1930s.”
