(Part 4 / 4) These days, Rahinata spends most of her time studying, helping with household chores, and supporting her family members with farming when school is on break. When asked about The Sonder Project, Rahinata tells us, “The Sonder Project enables me to be positive and optimistic about my future goals. The Sonder staff are my role models.” Her mother, Awa, is now also optimistic about her daughter’s future. She recalls, “I am not educated because during our time our parents believed school was not for girls. My father was not an easy man.
