From inpatient neighbors at Children’s to best friends, Keely and Haylee share a unique bond. Their families are sharing this incredible story of hope and healing today during the 21st annual KAT 103.7 Radiothon, benefiting Children’s.
It all began in October 2020, when two families received the same diagnosis for their child: leukemia. From there, it was a whirlwind of treatments and appointments. Both families were traveling from out of town and share many special memories at our Carolyn Scott Rainbow House—including a pizza party while snowed in.
Treatments often fell on the same day, giving the girls something to look forward to, rather than dread. This dynamic duo sported matching outfits, played and laughed, while overcoming the hard stuff together.
